We Learn While We play!
As a group family daycare, our primary purpose is to provide a clean, safe and nurturing environment. In our program, children are exposed to various developmental toys and games, music and varied play. Basic language and numeracy skills are introduced at an early stage, with the aim of full letter and number recognition by age 2, along with basic mathematical and scientific concepts such as quantity, order, colors and shapes.
When weather permits, many of our activities take place in our backyard play space. We plant a garden each summer.
Off-site physical and cultural activities are also incorporated, including swimming, farm trips, trips to musical and theatrical performances, community walks and trips to the playground.
We also have Parent Involvement Week for parents to share their skills and talents, Culture Night, BBQs and opportunities for parents to get to know each other and build community.
